TERMS OF USE
Practical boundaries for a practical care tool.
Last updated August 12, 2026
These Terms govern use of NurtureCanvas, a consumer care-organization service operated by Anchor & Sail Psychological Services LLC (“Anchor & Sail,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. You may create a profile for yourself. You may create a profile for a child or another person only if you are a parent, legal guardian, authorized caregiver, or otherwise have appropriate authority to collect, store, and share that person’s information. Do not use the service if that authority has ended.
What NurtureCanvas is
NurtureCanvas is an organizational tool for recording user-provided facts, appointments, medication instructions, documents, contacts, and questions. It can format information you select into appointment briefs and care handoffs that you must review before using or sharing.
What NurtureCanvas is not
NurtureCanvas is not a healthcare provider, therapist, crisis service, legal service, child-welfare agency, medical device, electronic health record, or substitute for professional judgment. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, determine safety, monitor a person, or advise starting, stopping, or changing medication. Using NurtureCanvas does not establish a professional relationship with Anchor & Sail or make the app’s content part of a clinical record.
Emergencies and urgent concerns
Do not use NurtureCanvas to seek emergency help, report abuse, or monitor an urgent safety concern. In the United States, call 911 for immediate danger or call or text 988 for suicide or mental-health crisis support. Contact the person’s authorized professionals and follow the applicable safety, agency, or emergency plan.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, maintaining control of your signed-in email account and device, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. Do not share account access with anyone who is not authorized to view every record in that household account.
Your content and sharing decisions
You retain your rights in the information and documents you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the features you request. You are responsible for reviewing information, correcting errors, verifying clinical details with licensed professionals, and deciding whether a recipient is authorized to receive anything you export or share.
Foster, kinship, education, and third-party records
You must follow applicable court orders, agency policies, consent requirements, confidentiality restrictions, education and healthcare privacy rules, and law. NurtureCanvas cannot determine whether you are authorized to upload or disclose a particular record. Do not upload a record merely because you can access it elsewhere.
Acceptable use
Do not use NurtureCanvas to harass, surveil, exploit, discriminate against, impersonate, or make automated decisions about another person; violate privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights; upload malicious or unlawful content; probe or bypass security; access another household’s records; resell the service; or use the service in a way that interferes with its operation.
Subscriptions and cancellation
NurtureCanvas Family costs $9.99 per month after a 14-day free trial unless the checkout page states otherwise. A payment method is required. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically each month after the trial. You may cancel through available billing controls or by emailing info@sailpsych.com. Stripe processes payments. Taxes, renewal timing, and final billing details are shown before you authorize checkout. Except where law requires otherwise, payments already processed are nonrefundable.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how information is handled and how to exercise privacy rights. Do not use the service if you do not understand or accept those practices.
Availability, suspension, and ending use
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict an account that violates these Terms, creates risk, or is required to be restricted by law. When reasonably feasible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export care records before a planned discontinuation. You may stop using the service, export your care record, and delete saved account data from Settings.
Service disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, NurtureCanvas is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, that every user-entered fact is accurate, or that the service will meet a particular clinical, legal, agency, or recordkeeping requirement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Anchor & Sail is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made from user-entered information without independent verification. Nothing in these Terms limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires a different form of consent.
